And My World[Miniature Edition] - Contains Goodnight Moon

These books are way too small and hard to see for the age bracket it is aimed at. I might be returning them soon. The description of them should be better and the size mentioned in bolder type and po9inted out...not just in the blurb under the product. Most people do not read the entire thing, just the title and such.

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased this 'collection'. The three books are packaged in a slightly larger than playing cards box. I didn't even break open the package to see how the stories could possibly have been shared in these miniature books. Unless you want toy books, DON'T BUY THIS SET!

THIS SET IS VERY DECEIVING!! THESE BOOKS ARE SO SMALL, THERE IS NO WAY MY BABY COULD ENJOY IT, LET ALONE ME TRY TO READ IT TO HIM!! THE TITLE AND DESCRIPTION SHOULD BE WAY MORE CLEAR AS I NEVER SAW EVEN AFTER PURCHASING WHERE IT STATES THEY ARE SO SMALL!!!

I was very dissapointed to see these tiny little books in the mail. No where in the description does it mention the books being tiny! I can hardly read them, I am very sorry I did not read the reviews till after the fact.

I love these stories. They're touching and classic. My son and I read each page then point out all the furniture, animals and little objects in the Bunny's room. It's a great night time story and I love that it illustrates a loving, cozy, safe home for the child to sleep soundly in.
Also, in My World, I like the simple but not patronizing way it shows the difference between the parents and child's possessions. I'm not sure if that was the intention of the author, but I like teaching my son what things are his and what are ours. Anyway, this story also is so sweet and classic and educational, with great drawings of our everyday artifacts.

"Goodnight Moon": I adore this book. I love the simplicity of it, the art of it. It is just a lovely send-off for bedtime. I buy this for every new mother I know.
"The Runaway Bunny": Simply a beautiful story of a child's imagining running away, and a mother's reassurance that she would always come after him. Not in a sappy, weepy way (although I do admit to tearing up a few times when I've read it), but just a loving way to reassure your little bunny that no matter how far they go, you are always there for them.
"My World": I've not yet read this one, but you can believe I will before I give this collection to my friend, expecting her first little one next month.

A great Shower Gift!!

I am saddened by all the vitriolic, one-star reviews. I understand that there are people who might not have read the details about the size of these books, but the last time I checked, people are free to return or exchange items they are not satisfied with. Many children adore things in miniature form, and I think this is a very charming set of books for young hands (not babies) to leaf through and wonder at. The three small books come in a slipcover box to keep them together.

Someone gave us this set as a gift and my 2 year old daughter is obsessed with carrying around these miniature books, and she loves the pictures. I needed to buy another set since the first one is falling apart so I was happy to find this on the store. So many reviewers here are upset with the size of the books, but it states clearly in the title that they are miniature!

Over the Moon is a collection of three books in one. Goodnight Moon, The Runaway Bunny and My World are all written by late children's book author Margaret Wise Brown and illustrated by late artist Clement Hurd.

Goodnight Moon is celebrating its 60th anniversary. A sweet little bunny tells everything in his room goodnight as he settles in for the night.

A red balloon. Kittens. Mittens. A comb. A brush. The bunny describes his room and wishes all of his daytime play things goodnight. The illustrations also describe the room, giving parents the perfect opportunity to show each item to their children as they read.

The Runaway Bunny features a boy bunny who wants to run away from home. He describes all of the many adventures he will take to leave the comfort of his home and mommy.

But mommy bunny isn't about to let her baby boy run away. She describes the many adventures she will take to bring her bunny boy back home.

My World is a fun story full of rhymes. Comparisons like mother's chair versus my chair show big differences in adult sizes and child sizes.

All stories are perfect bedtime tales for parents reading to young children. They're also good starter stories for children learning how to read.

How could you not love this set as it contains 3 classics by Margaret Wise Brown? The only thing was I did not read the description of the size. It is very very small! I would have preferred the classic board book size.

What more could you ask for in a trio of teeny tiny books? This set contains mini editions of all three titles (includes complete text of each story). This would be an excellent gift for a child or for an adult who much appreciates these classics. Recommended highly.

Same as so many other reviewers. This is too tiny to even be considered a book. The print is microscopic. I bought this set through Scholastic, not on the store. It's only useful as a shelf display item or to be used as doll books for pretend play.

Did not realize till came in mail they are the size of what a post it note is very small n unhappy. She's too little but when older can take in her bag with toys etc. But for book collection does not work

Goodnight Moon and The Runaway Bunny are two books that every child should have read to them. I had both read to me as a child and thus they are two of my favorites. I kind of liked having them as separate books, but having them together in one book is okay too. A great baby/children's gift.

Be aware that this is just one book with the three stories printed inside. It is not three separately bound books. Of course we love these stories, but I would have preferred three individually-bound books rather than this version.

Make sure you pay attention to the size! Bought these as a baby shower gift without realizing how small they were. Definitely cute and good quality but had to get another gift since these were so tiny.
